Ukraine's drone offensive hits Russian oil infrastructure, causing fuel crisis

There have been attacks in seven regions of Russia in total. A state of emergency has been declared in the Rostov region. In the Oryol and Belgorod regions, drones damaged oil infrastructure, causing fires in oil depots and plants supplying the Russian army with petroleum products.

Ukraine targeted the Russian oil infrastructure once again. In a massive drone attack, significant damage was inflicted. A fire erupted in an oil depot in the Oryol region.

The attacks spanned across seven regions of Russia. A state of emergency has been declared in the Rostov region. In the Belgorod region, a fire also broke out in additional oil depots.

A military airport in Morozovsk in the Rostov region, an ammunition depot in the Oryol region, and the "Atlas Plant" of the Federal Agency for State Reserves Southern Federal District Directorate in the Rostov region were also targeted. This plant supplies the Russian army with petroleum products.

Kyiv aims to disrupt the Russian supply chain

Ukrainian drones target fuel supplies to prevent them from reaching the front lines. Ukraine is causing another fuel crisis for Russia.

Strikes on refineries have decreased refining capabilities by between 4% and 7%, according to various estimates.
