"The SBU's attacks on Russian refineries continue. This time the SBU's drones targeted both the Ilsky and Afipsky refineries in the Krasnodar Territory," reported a spokesperson for the agency.

Independent Russian media had reported bright and early that Ukrainian forces, just last night, attacked facilities in various regions of Russia using drones. The result was a significant fire at a refinery in the Krasnodar Territory.

It's worth noting that the two refineries are approximately 20 kilometers (rounded) apart from each other. The SBU has shared that fires broke out at both facilities.

Significant damage was incurred at the Ilsky plant. A processing unit capable of handling around 2.39 million metric tons (approximately 2.35 million UK tons, rounded) per annum was adversely affected. As a consequence of this damage, the ability to produce diesel oil for wartime requirements has been considerably hampered, according to the agency's representative.

The representative further added, "The drones also performed effectively at the Afipsky refinery, the extent of the damages is currently under evaluation."
