Ukraine destroys the infrastructure

Ukrainian drones destroy the fuel infrastructure to disrupt supplies to the front, as we wrote in money.pl, Ukraine is causing another fuel crisis in Russia.

According to various estimates, strikes on the refineries have reduced refining capacity by about 4% to even 7% of fuel production. Meanwhile, prices at the pumps have risen by 25%. The Kremlin already had to limit fuel sales to external markets to ensure there was enough for the growing domestic needs.

Reuters estimated that the processing capabilities of Russian refineries, taken out of operation in the first quarter of 2024 due to drone attacks, amounted to about 4.6 million tonnes of crude oil (average 370,500 barrels per day)
