Zhdanov argues that the recent defeats in the battles in the Kharkiv region will not cause a change in the plans of the Russian command.
The expert argues that the Russian command has not cancelled the task of capturing Vovchansk to create a springboard for an offensive deeper into our territory towards Kupiansk.
To this end, in Zhdanov's opinion, Putin's army will soon begin "massive attacks" on Vovchansk and Kupiansk. According to Zhdanov, capturing this area will open the way for the Russians to Kharkiv.
The expert noted that the Russians are suffering heavy losses because the infantry units they send into battle "present very low combat quality".
Accurate strike by Ukrainians. Russia's pride at the bottom
Meanwhile, Ukrainians are celebrating successes. They are weakening the Russian potential on land and at sea.
In the night from Thursday to Friday, the Ukrainian army attacked Sevastopol in Crimea. It turned out that the Russians lost one of their precious submarines, from which they launched Kalibr missiles towards Ukraine.
According to confirmed information on Friday, rocket forces, in cooperation with Ukrainian Navy units, significantly damaged four S-400 Triumf air defense system launchers, as informed by the Ukrainian General Staff on Saturday.
In the port of Sevastopol, a Russian Black Sea Fleet 'Rostov-on-Don' submarine was successfully hit. As a result of the hit, the submarine sank on the spot.
