As reported by the Ministry of Health controlled by Hamas, the victims are children.
Videos have appeared on the internet that were supposed to document dangerous incidents. The clips show how the parachutes do not function properly.
Packages like projectiles
The Times of Israel portal recalls that over the last week, the United States Armed Forces, in cooperation with Jordan, France, and Egypt, dropped over 70,000 food rations on the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
In February, a slowdown in humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza was observed. UNRWA, a UN agency that deals exclusively with aid for Palestinians, blamed Israel for this.
Meanwhile, COGAT, the Israeli office responsible for controlling border crossings, claims that Israel effectively controls and permits the passage of aid transports through the border. However, the problem is said to be aid organizations operating in the Gaza Strip, which were unable to unload and distribute the delivered packages.
Eating animal feed: Hell in the Gaza Strip
"We are forced to eat animal feed to survive. Sometimes we eat food for birds, donkeys, and sometimes grass that we collect from the street corners. We try to survive the hunger," informed Suhail Habib, a representative of the humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) in the Gaza Strip.
International organizations, as well as numerous experts, journalists, and human rights defenders, have been warning for weeks that the situation of the civilian population in the Gaza Strip is catastrophic. The most difficult situation prevails in the north of the territory, where less humanitarian aid reaches than to the south.
In October 2023, the terrorist organization Hamas, which governs the Palestinian enclave, launched an armed invasion of Israel. As a result of this attack, about 1,200 people died, most of them civilians, and about 240 were abducted.
Since then, Israel has been conducting retaliatory operations, in which nearly 31,000 Palestinians have already died. At least 90 percent of the more than 2 million residents of the Gaza Strip had to leave their homes, and most of the buildings in this territory have been destroyed.
