Russia has stationed three ships in the Black Sea, each armed with Kalibr cruise missiles, as stated by the Ukrainian Navy. The Russian vessels monitored by the Ukrainians have the capability of launching up to six missiles in a single salvo.

Ukraine's actions

British intelligence indicates that Ukraine is effectively restricting Russia's naval operations in the eastern part of the Black Sea. Ukrainian assaults have led Russia to perceive a threat from Ukraine, which is undermining the authority of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

Ukrainian naval forces, in conjunction with other military branches, have managed to deprive Russia of superiority in the Black Sea by utilising the R-360 Neptun missile system, unmanned kamikaze vessels, and Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles, announced Ukrainian Navy Commander Oleksiy Neizhpapa on Thursday.

"Overall, this represents the effective work of the entire Ukrainian Defence Forces. Our first successful experience involved the use of the Neptun missile system. Subsequently, during a joint operation of the Navy and the SBU, we deployed marine kamikaze drones that infiltrated Sevastopol Bay," said Neizhpapa in an interview with ArmyInform.
