Drone strike ignites fuel depot in Russia's Tambov region
In Russia on Friday, there was another drone attack. This time, the target was a fuel depot in the Tambov region. The Ukrainian army most likely carried out the attack.

The Tambov region is about 250 miles southeast of Moscow and about 310 miles from the border with Ukraine.
The region's governor, Maksim Yegorov, reported the attack on social media. "The fuel depot in the Tambov region in Russia, several hundred miles from the border with Ukraine, caught fire on Friday after a Ukrainian drone attack," the governor conveyed. The AFP agency quotes his words.
Yegorov added that the drone was spotted around 01:45 GMT. At that time, "a small fire" broke out. Photos from the scene have appeared online. You can see a huge column of fire and dark smoke rising above one of the tanks.
According to local authorities, no one was killed in the attack. There is no information about any potential injuries.

There were also reports on Friday of a drone attack in the Bryansk region, which directly borders the Ukrainian region of Chernihiv.
The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, informed that one drone was shot down over his region, but its fall "partially damaged the roof of an administrative building."
The Russian Ministry of Defence stated in a statement that 25 Ukrainian drones were "intercepted" over Russian territory on Thursday and Friday. However, the ministry remained silent on the reports of the fire in the Tambov region.
