According to Polsat News, one of the drones was likely destroyed, prompting the authorities to begin searching for its remains.
Nighttime attacks on Ukraine
This event took place overnight from Monday to Tuesday, when Russian missiles struck several Ukrainian regions, including Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhia. As a result of the attacks, there were emergency power outages throughout Ukraine.
At around the same time, the Polish army had to intervene due to a violation of airspace by a Russian Su-24MR aircraft over the Gulf of Gdańsk.
The aircraft penetrated to a depth of approximately 7 kilometres and remained there for 1 minute and 12 seconds. The cause of the incident was a failure of the Russian aircraft's navigation system.
