An individual struck incredibly lucky in the Superenalotto games in Italy. A mere 2-euro ticket, approximately £1.73, ballooned into over 101 million euros. This fortunate winner made their purchase in Naples. Yet, this staggering sum isn't the loftiest payout in the annals of the Italian lottery.

A remarkable win unfolds at a Naples store! A participant in the well-loved Italian number game Superenalotto hit the jackpot by simply investing in a 2-euro game, roughly equating to £1.73.

The gamble certainly paid off for this Naples resident, who walked away with 101,511,953 euros and 21 cents. A similar fortune befell an Italian in Rovigo, snagging 85 million euros last November.

Spectacular Jackpots in Superenalotto

In Superenalotto, some of the globe's most eye-watering prizes are clinched. A record was shattered in February 2023 when the grand prize reached 371 million euros. However, the windfall was divided among 90 individuals, each netting 4 million euros—a less colossal but undoubtedly impactful sum.
