Kremlin's broadcast bluster: Calls to reclaim Europe land
Finland, Warsaw, the Baltic countries, and Moldova "should be returned to the Russian Empire" – this was the claim made by Vladimir Solovyov, a leading Kremlin propagandist. On air, he argued these are strategic goals for Russia's security. This is yet another provocation of this kind by the Russian.
Much of the information conveyed by Russian media and government representatives is likely untrue. Such reports may be part of an information war from the Russian Federation.
This is not the first time Vladimir Solovyov, a pro-Kremlin journalist, propagandist, and ally of Putin, has attacked Europe, including Poland, on air at the state station Rossiya 1.
A recording featuring a fragment of Solovyov's programme was posted on Twitter by Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
– We need strategic security. To this end, it would be advantageous to reach Transnistria to cut Ukraine off from the Black Sea. It is crucial for us to ensure this territory does not pose a threat to us in any form. And not only that. This also applies to the Baltic states and Poland – said Putin's chief propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov, on his programme.
According to him, Finland, Warsaw, the Baltic countries, and Moldova should be "returned to the Russian Empire."
The Kremlin propagandist outdid himself. "The Western establishment should pray to Putin"
The Russian propagandist is known for many such appearances and similar claims. As a presenter for the state station Rossiya 1, he often comments on the war in Ukraine, supporting Moscow's actions.
Not long ago, Solovyov advised the West to "pray to Putin."
– We can establish a peacekeeping headquarters on islands, if there are any that were under the control of the British colonial, repugnant government. It all depends on how much they realise the power of our armed forces. This entire crazy political Western establishment should pray to Putin and his patience – roared Solovyov on air.
