Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, previously actively supported Donald Trump but are now clearly distancing themselves from the political scene.

According to Michael Wolff's book "All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America", a conflict emerged between Trump's team and Ivanka and Jared. Donald Trump was hoping for their public support when accusations of anti-Semitism arose, but the couple declined.

Michael Wolff describes how Trump frequently turned to Kushner when questions about his stance on Israel arose. However, his daughter's husband avoided formally endorsing his father-in-law, and the campaign had to settle for a statement claiming Trump was not anti-Semitic.

As Trump remained indecisive, The Washington Post reportedly worked on an article analyzing his past rhetoric, which his team believed could be perceived as anti-Semitic. Meanwhile, Kushner refrained from openly endorsing his father-in-law. According to the book, the campaign opted for a statement clarifying that Trump was not anti-Semitic.

Kushner's final response was explicit: "No, Ivanka and I aren’t going to do that. We’re not going to go and put our names on something and get in the middle of things. That’s just not what we’re going to do this time." - Wolff quotes him. This stance did not satisfy Trump's team.

Wolff's book has sparked controversy. Individuals associated with Trump's campaign question its credibility and urge readers to disregard the publication. Wolff also discusses Trump's relationship with Melania, claiming her behaviour was unpredictable for the staff.
