The President of Ukraine appealed for the acceleration of weapon and ammunition deliveries primarily to the United States, the United Kingdom, and France.

He also pointed out that the Ukrainian army is achieving success in fighting the Russian aggressor despite the difficult situation at the front, especially in the Toretsk and Pokrovsk regions, where the Russians constantly attempt to break through Ukrainian defensive lines.

- Our units, our brigades are doing everything possible to hold their positions. I thank everyone who is contributing to this - emphasised President Zelensky.

"Buffer zone on the aggressor's territory"

According to the President of Ukraine, the primary objective of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' ongoing defensive actions is to destroy as much of the Russian war potential as possible and effectively conduct counterattacks.

Volodymyr Zelensky emphasised the particular significance of the ongoing operation conducted by Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk region, which, as he highlighted, "aims to create a buffer zone on the aggressor's territory".
