Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has selected Senator J.D. Vance from Ohio as his vice-presidential candidate. He shared this information on his social media platform, Truth Social Network.

"After lengthy conversations and deliberations, and considering the immense talents of many other individuals, I have decided that the most suitable person to take the position of Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance," Trump announced.
