Trump found guilty in hush money scandal, Daniels' lawyer reacts

The trial of Donald Trump and adult film actress Stormy Daniels captured global attention. The former adult industry star had been suing the former U.S. president for several months. The court found the president guilty of all charges, a verdict that Stormy Daniels' lawyer eagerly commented on.

While it may seem hyperbolic to say the whole world was focused on a particular case, it is justified in the Daniels and Trump trial. For several months, a thunderous legal battle occurred between the former president of the United States and the adult film actress.

Their dispute revolved around the "hush money" that Trump allegedly paid Daniels to keep quiet about an affair they had in 2006. The payment was intended to help him win the 2016 presidential election. In this matter, a verdict was rendered against him.

However, the Republican candidate denied everything, accusing her of lying. As it turned out, the court did not believe his testimony and found him guilty on all counts. Trump's lawyer, however, announced that he would not give up and would file an appeal.

Immediately after the trial concluded, Stormy Daniels' lawyer, Clark Brewster, decided to speak to the media. Exciting was his statement about his client's emotional state. According to him, the 45-year-old former adult industry actress felt "taken aback" after the verdict was announced.

At the same time, he did not hold back from taking a jab at the former president of the United States. He considered the verdict in favour of his client to demonstrate the values for which this country is known, namely equality before the law.

You have to respect the laws and like I said, no one is above it - Clark Brewster commented on the trial's outcome.

Although the trial has ended, it is still unclear whether we will revisit it sometime in the future. If Trump's camp files an appeal, the case will most likely return to the jury.
