The former First Lady, Melania Trump, rarely makes public appearances. However, this time she made an exception. As it turns out, she had a very important reason. She announced her grand comeback.

Since leaving Washington in January 2021, Melania Trump has mostly avoided the public eye. In November, she attended a memorial service dedicated to former First Lady, Rosalynn Carter in Georgia. She joined the current First Lady, Jill Biden, and former First Ladies: Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, and Hillary Clinton, to pay tribute to Carter.
In December, Melania Trump spoke during a citizenship ceremony at the National Archives in Washington. During her speech, she shared her challenging experiences related to becoming a U.S. citizen and the challenges that entailed.
Melania Trump has faded into the background
Particularly noteworthy is the fact that Melania Trump has been absent from political activities supporting her husband since she participated in the event inaugurating his campaign in November 2022. She also did not appear alongside Donald Trump at any of the numerous court hearings. Remember, the former president faces 88 charges in four separate cases.
Last year, Donald Trump was asked whether his wife would join him during the campaign. He then answered that it would happen "very soon".
She is a private person, terrific, very confident, and loves our country very much. And frankly, I like to keep her away from it. It’s so nasty and mean (the campaign - note ed) - Donald Trump said in September on NBC’s Meet the Press.
It's worth adding that sources familiar with the Trumps' relationship told CNN in an interview that Melania Trump is largely focused on raising their son Barron. The 18-year-old will graduate from high school in Florida this spring.
Melania Trump returns to support her husband
Last Tuesday, the former First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, appeared publicly alongside her husband, Donald Trump. They both cast their votes in the Florida presidential primaries, which sparked speculation about her potential return to the campaign trail.
"Stay with us," Melania Trump said with a smile when a reporter asked if she plans to return to active participation in the campaign.
