Tragic collision in Tabasco claims 41 lives, investigation underway

On Saturday in southern Mexico, a tragic road accident occurred in which 41 people were killed, as confirmed by the authorities of the state of Tabasco. A bus carrying 48 passengers collided with a lorry.
As a result of this collision, 38 passengers, two bus drivers, and the lorry driver lost their lives.
Causes of the accident
According to Reuters, the bus caught fire after colliding with the lorry. Acosta Tour, the bus company, issued a statement explaining the circumstances of the incident.
"The accident occurred when the lorry entered the lane on which our coach was travelling from Villa del Sol to Tecolutilla. At the time of the accident, our coach was in optimal condition and was moving at a moderate speed," the statement reads.
This accident is one of the most tragic in the region in recent years. Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the exact causes of the incident.
