Russian drone barrage leaves four dead, 16 injured across Ukraine
As a result of Russian attacks in three regions, four people died, and 16 were injured. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that 162 drones were used overnight, of which 82 were shot down.
In the past 24 hours, Russian forces launched attacks on Ukraine, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuries to 16. The attacks took place in the Kyiv, Kherson, and Donetsk regions.
Drone attacks and casualties
The military administration of the Kyiv region reported that in the Boryspil area, a 60-year-old man died at a railway crossing. "Death occurred before the arrival of medics," it was reported.
In the Kherson region, according to the local authority head Oleksandr Prokudin, one person died, and four were injured due to shelling.
In the Donetsk region, as informed by local authority head Vadym Filashkin, two people died, and 12 were injured. Russian forces attacked with 162 Shahed strike drones and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed the shooting down of 82 drones in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. This information was provided by the Polish Press Agency.
