Tourists in the United Kingdom have once again proven that they are willing to risk a lot, even their health, for a good photo. This time, the woman, not thinking much, stood near a Royal Guard's horse in front of Buckingham Palace.
Moments later, the animal—most likely unsettled by such behaviour—nudged her, causing her to fall to the ground. Initially, the horrified witnesses froze, but soon, they rushed to help the woman. Thanks to several people's support, she eventually stood up, though she looked at least shocked.
The woman wanted to take a photo. The royal horse knocked her down
The recording, which captures the entire incident, became a hit online. Since its publication on Sunday, it has been viewed nearly 8 million times on the platform X. As noted in the publication's description: "Tourists are warned not to get close to the horses or guards with a nearby sign reading 'Beware. Horse may kick or bite. Don’t touch the reigns. Thank you.'" along with a plea not to touch the animals.
Online commenters also didn't spare the tourist, joking that her fall looked too dramatic compared to what happened. Posts referenced footballers' simulated falls on the pitch from pain, saying, for example, that "even Cristiano Ronaldo would be proud of such a display."
This is another such incident that happened in the United Kingdom. The Daily Mail mentions that just a month ago—in May—a woman who posed for a photo while touching the horse was bitten by the animal.
