Álvaro Morata, during the Euro 2024, complained about the attitude of the Spanish fans towards him. Recently, after one of the comments from an internet user, he decided to respond by referencing the behaviour of the fans.

On Sunday, 14 July, Spanish football fans had much to celebrate. Their national team defeated the England team 2-1 in the Euro 2024 final, winning the tournament held on German fields.

At the European Championship, the captain of La Furia Roja was Álvaro Morata. He scored the first goal for the Spanish national team in this tournament, but he could not improve his tally in subsequent matches.

Quite unexpectedly, after the Euro 2024 final, global media began reporting on Morata's club change, despite rejecting offers from Saudi Arabia and declaring to stay at Atlético Madrid, he is set to move to Italy’s AC Milan, causing a stir.

Under one of the pictures from the championship celebration, a fan wrote that many Atlético flags are in the photo, but Morata is leaving for Milan. This comment made the striker decide to respond.

"I can't leave now, but after Dortmund, you all wanted to kick me out. I won the European Championship as an Atleti player," the player responded to the comment, which was later deleted by the user, but screenshots made it online.

It is worth noting that during Euro 2024, he spoke critically about the attitude of Spanish fans towards him. He emphasised that he is happy outside his homeland because people respect him.
