Many people mistakenly assume that homemade sweets must involve many ingredients, complicated steps, and several hours in the kitchen. But it doesn't have to be this way. Sometimes, it takes very little to have a fantastic dessert on the table, especially in the blink of an eye for the whole family.
A recipe for peach pouches comes in handy in such a situation. You'll prepare them based on puff pastry. But that's not the end of my good news for you. In addition to juicy fruits, crunchy ladyfingers and delicious jam are waiting for you here. So it will be tasty, interesting, and original simultaneously!
It takes so little to have delicious peach pouches in your kitchen today
Ingredients:
- 1 puff pastry,
- 6 peaches in syrup,
- 1/2 jar of peach jam,
- 100g ladyfingers,
- peach syrup for brushing the ladyfingers,
- milk for brushing,
- powdered sugar for sprinkling.
How to prepare:
Step 1. I start working on the homemade dessert by dividing the puff pastry into four smaller rectangles. Each piece will soon become the base for tasty pouches.
Step 2. In the centre of each piece of puff pastry, I then place 2 ladyfingers horizontally.
Step 3. Directly on the ladyfingers, I spread syrup and peach jam.
Step 4. I also do not forget about the pieces of peach, which I place close to each other, practically one piece on top of the other. At the end, I gently brush the protruding ends with water using a kitchen brush, then start to join them to form the shape of a pouch.
Step 5. Then, I transfer these prepared pieces to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Additionally, I brush each piece with milk. Only in such a condition can the form with its content go to the oven. It should be 20 minutes there. The oven during this time should be set to a temperature of 190 degrees Celsius.
Step 6. The baked pouches are decorated with powdered sugar and fresh mint. And that's it, enjoy your meal!
