Although this is a scrumptious trio, this time I want to persuade you to make a considerable modification to this recipe. Prepare your turkey fillets according to our instructions and your loved ones will surely be wowed. It's not just about the wonderful flavours, it's also about the presentation. As it happens, this type of meat makes an amazing poultry bowl, which you'll bake in the oven. As you can see, there's a lot to do, so you certainly won't becoming bored in the kitchen.
Edible bowls, filled to the brim with mouth-watering stuffing, will impress you from the first bite
Ingredients:
Meat:
- 454 grams of turkey breast.
Stuffing:
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1 large onion,
- 397 grams of mushrooms,
- 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika,
- 1 teaspoon of dried garlic,
- 1 tablespoon of Herbes de Provence,
- 1 teaspoon of cumin,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/3 teaspoon of pepper.
Additions:
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/3 teaspoon of pepper,
- 119 grams of grated mozzarella.
Instructions:
Step 1. Start the recipe by preparing the stuffing for future poultry bowls. For this, combine peeled and chopped vegetables in a hot, greased pan - in this case, onions and mushrooms.
Step 2. The next ingredients in the pan are the spices: Herbes de Provence, dried garlic, sweet paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Mix the ingredients thoroughly, then remove the pan from the heat. Now the stuffing for the bowls is ready!
Step 3. Next, prepare the meat. Divide the cleaned and dried turkey fillet into smaller slices. Place each poultry piece on a cutting board, then thin it with a meat mallet.
Step 4. Transfer the prepared meat into a small cup to help the fillet take the correct shape. Then fill each piece with the previously prepared mixture, folding over any protruding ends of the fillet.
Step 5. Move the poultry bowls to a baking dish. Lightly drizzle each bowl with oil and add extra seasoning using salt and pepper. Finally, sprinkle the bowls with grated cheese. In this case, mozzarella is an excellent choice.
Step 6. The dish with the meat treats goes into a preheated oven for 20 minutes. The oven at this point should consistently stay at a temperature of 170°C.
Step 7. While waiting, prepare any sides you want to accompany the recipe. This time, I'm going for roasted potatoes. But, colourful salad, rice, or groats would also work perfectly here. In the end, don't forget to garnish the finished dish with fresh parsley leaves. And that's all, enjoy your meal!
