Military truck kills pedestrian in Volgograd, driver detained

In Volgograd, Russia, a military truck struck a man at a pedestrian crossing. Shocking video footage of the incident has surfaced on social media.

At that moment, a military truck sped through the far-left lane, and the driver did not even slow down.

The man died instantly. Behind him, his daughter and son were riding scooters. The deceased was restaurateur Sergei Tipailov. Later, the truck collided with a UAZ and fled the scene again.

The truck driver was already detained – it turned out to be a 39-year-old man. A criminal case has been initiated following this scandalous incident.
