DHL cargo plane crashes into a residential building in Vilnius, claims one life and injures another

According to preliminary information, at least one person was killed, and another was injured after a DHL cargo plane crashed into a residential building. It was flying from Leipzig.

Lithuanian broadcaster LRT reported that a cargo plane belonging to the logistics company DHL crashed into a residential building near the airport in Vilnius early Monday morning.

The plane flying from Leipzig struck the two-storey residential building and caught fire. Emergency services evacuated 12 people from the building. They were not injured.

Rescue services were dispatched to the scene of the incident.
