Kylian Mbappe's luxury car collection: The twist no one expected
Kylian Mbappe is the proud owner of an impressive collection of sports cars. Nevertheless, few people realise that the captain of the French national team cannot drive them. The trivial reason was revealed in one of his interviews.
Kylian Mbappe seems to be at the peak of his career, which is also reflected in his wealth. According to Forbes' list of the "10 highest-paid athletes in 2024," the captain of the French national team recently earned as much as 86 million pounds (110 million dollars). Therefore, it is not surprising that the footballer leads a luxurious life and does not deny himself expensive purchases.
Mbappe, as befits a football star, can boast, among other things, an impressive collection of sports cars, the total value of which is staggering. According to findings by indiGO Auto Group, Kylian's garage contains cars such as the Ferrari 488 Pista, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, Volkswagen Tiguan, Volkswagen Touareg, Volkswagen Multivan and Mercedes-Benz V-Class.
Kylian Mbappe collects luxury cars, but cannot drive them
Interestingly, the footballer cannot fully enjoy them. Presumably, few people realise that Mbappe does not drive these cars. Why? Well, the 25-year-old does not possess a driving licence. As he confessed in one of the interviews, it is a "drawback of early success". Nevertheless, Kylian does not regret it; he can always rely on a private driver when it comes to transport.
I missed simple things like having a driver's license. I think everyone has one. For so many people, a license is an obligation, but it wasn't for me. Licenses are often synonymous with autonomy, but I had my autonomy so early that I've had drivers at my disposal - he explained in an interview with Bleacher Report.
