Bella and Gigi Hadid's million-dollar aid for Gaza's children

Models Gigi and Bella Hadid are known worldwide. The stars' father, Mohamed Anwar Hadid, is a real estate magnate and Palestinian, and they have supported Palestine from the beginning. Known from the covers of major fashion magazines and runways of the most famous designers, the sisters decided to join forces to assist Palestinians.

Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid donated $1 million (approximately £820,000) to four humanitarian organisations focused on helping children and families affected by the war in the Gaza Strip. The famous sisters chose the organisations Heal Palestine, Palestine Children's Relief Fund, World Central Kitchen, and United Nations Relief and Works Agency. Each one will receive $250,000 (approximately £205,000).

Bella Hadid wrote on Instagram: "A Palestinian girl on the cover of Vogue. The joy it brings me to say that….I won’t stop talking about the systematic oppression, pain and humility that Palestinians face on a regular basis. Bella's younger sister, Gigi Hadid, has publicly supported Palestine multiple times. She simultaneously expressed sympathy for everyone affected by the war in the Gaza Strip.
