Windows 11 revamps Hello interface for insider preview
Microsoft has redesigned the Windows Hello interface in Windows 11. Logging into the system and services is intended to be more visually pleasing and intuitive.
For now, these changes are available exclusively to participants of the Windows Insider programme. They have been implemented in the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.4440 (KB5045889) version, but Microsoft notes that individual features are being rolled out to users gradually.
Windows 11 with a refreshed Windows Hello interface
Changes are already visible on the system login screen. Microsoft has introduced new iconography, which, according to the press release, is "adapted to modern standards of Windows visual design."
Other authentication screens have also been redesigned. This includes the Microsoft Store and the login panel using access keys.
The update also brings bug fixes and improvements, including the resolution of an issue that caused the touch keyboard to crash.
It is not yet known when the refreshed Windows Hello interface will be available to all Windows 11 users. It is expected to happen within a few months.
