Trump dismisses deportation rumours but targets Meghan again
Donald Trump announced that he does not intend to deport Prince Harry from the USA. However, he couldn't resist making some jabs at the couple, particularly Meghan Markle.
The uncertain fate of Prince Harry, who might face deportation from the USA, has been a media topic for months. Rumour has it that Donald Trump, after a break in his presidency, would be in favour of expelling the ex-royal from the country. When he resumed office, many believed that the fate of Meghan Markle's husband might already be sealed.
Donald Trump directly on Prince Harry's deportation. He took a jab at Meghan
After a wave of speculation that Trump, after winning the election, was preparing to expel Harry from the USA, the president decided to speak out. His words were quoted by the New York Post, and it seems that the media's exaggerated threats will amount to nothing.
I don't want to do that. I'll leave him alone – Trump said, putting an end to the speculations.
Trump wouldn't be himself if he didn't take the opportunity to make a jab at the couple. It's no secret they aren't supporters of his policies, so such a move was rather predictable.
He already has enough problems with his wife. She's awful – he remarked.
Will Meghan decide to respond? We'll likely find out soon. Let's remember that a right-wing group, the Heritage Foundation, called for Harry's deportation. The ex-royal admitted in his autobiography that he used cocaine, which in their opinion should disqualify him from immigration to the country, if he lied on his visa application. Trump, as it appears, does not intend to devote much attention to him.
Did you breathe a sigh of relief?
