This simple cocktail will quench your thirst, satisfy a sweet tooth, and refresh you on warm days. Express mango lassi brings the taste of holidays in warm countries without leaving your home. It's delicious, healthy, and quick to prepare.

When my mother-in-law showed up at my doorstep, I wanted to serve her something tasty to drink. The coffee can was empty, but a delicious, ripe mango awaited in the fruit basket. A delicious cocktail was made in a few moments, which disappeared to the last drop. My mother-in-law has been inquiring about the recipe ever since and recreates that taste at home herself. The Indian delicacy quickly became a hit in my family.

How to make a delicious mango lassi

Mango lassi is a delicious and refreshing drink based on yoghurt, mango, and spices. It originates from India. It's an ideal way to use ripe mango and offers many health benefits.

Yoghurt, with its probiotics, helps regulate bowel function and aid digestion. Mango is rich in potassium, which helps regulate blood pressure and improves circulation. Both yoghurt and mango are low in calories and high in fibre, aiding in fullness and weight management.

Mango lassi is a brilliant idea for a tasty and healthy dessert, combining the sweetness of mango with creamy yoghurt and a hint of spicy aroma. Preparation takes only a few minutes and a moment in the blender, creating a refreshing pleasure for the palate.

Ingredients:

- 1 ripe mango,

- 150g natural yoghurt,

- 50-100ml milk or water (optionally, to achieve the desired consistency),
- 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optionally),
- A pinch of ground cardamom,
- A pinch of cinnamon,
- A few mint leaves for decoration.

How to prepare:

1. Peel the mango, remove the stone, and cut the flesh into pieces.

2. Put the mango in the blender along with the yoghurt, cardamom, and cinnamon, and blend until smooth.

3. Taste and, if necessary, add honey or maple syrup to sweeten the mango lassi. If the consistency is too thick, gradually add milk or water.

4. Transfer the mango lassi into glasses and cool in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

5. Decorate with a few fresh mint leaves before serving.
The delicious cocktail is ready. Enjoy!
