Doctors "cannot operate and cut out the marble in my chest that is laying on my windpipe, and eventually would suffocate me to death," explained Jackson in a video posted on Instagram. Nonetheless, she pointed to hope in the form of a "magic pill" based on ribociclib, an anti-cancer drug with the potential to shrink the tumour. The actress, researching the expected lifespan with such treatment, found information stating that it is, on average, three years.

Despite the distressing news, Jackson maintains a positive attitude: "I've had a fantastic life," she says, emphasising that the awareness of her limited remaining time prompts her to reflect on life. The actress also expressed hope to experience a few critical moments in her family's life, including the birth of a grandchild.

Several years of fighting cancer

Victoria Jackson, who first revealed that she had breast cancer in 2016, was a member of the "Saturday Night Live" cast from 1986 to 1992. The actress, known for her parody talents and performances in the "Weekend Update" segment, emphasises that despite the diagnosis, she wants to make the most of each day. In her latest Instagram post, with a humorous touch, she mentioned that she has 35 months of life ahead of her if she doesn't "get hit by a meteor, shot by a MAGA hater, get Covid again, or WWIII breaks out."

Victoria Jackson has appeared in dozens of films, mainly comedies. Some of the more notable productions she has been involved in include comedies like "I Love You to Death," "UHF" and "Family Business."
