Ukrainian strike cripples strategic Russian fuel depot in Smolensk

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a fuel depot in Yartsevo, in the Smolensk region, as confirmed by the country's General Staff. The depot, located about 60 kilometres northeast of Smolensk, was a key supply point for the Russian army fighting in Ukraine.
The attack took place early Tuesday morning, Greenwich Mean Time, and was conducted by the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces in collaboration with the Unmanned Systems Forces. The action resulted in an explosion and fire, which caused heavy smoke in the area. According to Ukraine's General Staff, storage tanks containing petroleum products caught fire. Earlier, Russian media reported that the attack was executed using Ukrainian drones. The Polish Press Agency reported the information about the attack.
Attack on the depot in Yartsevo
