"During the night, 60 hostile unmanned aerial vehicles were detected in Ukrainian airspace. The attack was repelled," stated a message published on Telegram.

Ten drones lost communication due to the effective use of electronic warfare measures.

"It was confirmed that 42 hostile drones were shot down in the regions of Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv. Most of the drones were destroyed in the Sumy region. Unfortunately, the attack resulted in casualties in the region. We extend our condolences to the families," the Ukrainian air force conveyed.

"Additionally, ten Russian drones lost communication. One machine entered Belarusian territory, and three more returned to Russia. One hostile drone remains in Ukrainian airspace," the military informed.

Ukrainian forces effectively repel Russian attacks thanks to advanced defence technologies and electronic warfare measures.
