On February 24, 2022, the world watched as Ukraine bravely defended itself against Russian aggression. Ukraine's soldiers earned international recognition by successfully repelling Russia's military assault, thus preventing an invasion into Kyiv and securing their place on the front line.

The Russians, having suffered hefty losses, were unable to reclaim the initiative. This is evident in the video footage from the vicinity of the airport in Hostomel.

The video depicts a graveyard of Russian tanks that attempted to seize the city during the battles that occurred between February 25 and April 1, 2022. Ultimately, the Ukrainians emerged victorious, successfully defending Hostomel from Russian incursion.

Witness the "decimated forces of the once invincible army"

The video from Hostomel was brought back into discussion by Artur Micek, an expert in military affairs and a political scientist, who frequently publishes frontline recordings and analyses of the war situation. His commentary pulls no punches.

Several people noted that preparations would be beneficial for the cities under siege by the Russians. Specific attention is given to the Zaporizhia and Donbass region, where currently the most intense fighting is happening.
