The Ukrainian Defence Minister reported that he had a fruitful conversation with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. "I informed [Austin] about current situation at front and priority needs for our Defence Forces," said Rustem Umerov.

According to information released by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence press service on their Telegram profile, the Ukrainian Defence Minister expressed deep gratitude to Lloyd Austin, the United States Secretary of Defense, and the entire American nation during the conversation.

The United States continues to support Ukraine

The minister emphasised that U.S. support, including military, humanitarian, and political aid, is ongoing and comprehensive. This support has been particularly significant since the onset of Russia's full-scale aggression.

Thanks to the aid, Ukraine has maintained its defence and continued the fight for sovereignty and territorial integrity.

"Together with our allies, we continue the struggle for peace in our country and stability in Europe and the world," Umerov highlighted, pointing to the importance of international solidarity in the struggle for peace.
