On Sunday, Zelensky emphasised on social media the determination of the Ukrainian air defence in the face of increasing attacks.

Last night, and throughout this week, our air defense forces, mobile fire groups, and all air defense units worked to protect Ukrainians from Russian aerial terror. Over 30 strike drones were shot down in a single night. In total, over the course of the week, Russia has used more than 500 guided aerial bombs, nearly 660 strike drones, and approximately 120 missiles of various types against us – stated the President of Ukraine.

Zelensky highlighted that no country in the world has had to face such intense daily attacks for such a long time.

No other country in the world has ever faced such attacks on a daily basis for such a long time. Yet, our state has stood firm. Our armed forces continue to fight the aggressor, our people are working for the sake of a strong Ukraine, and our partners support us – he emphasised.

The President also noted that despite the difficult situation, Ukraine does not intend to give in.

Together, we are the force that will compel Russia to seek a just peace and restore peace and security in Europe – added Zelensky.

Russian drone attack on a minibus in Kherson. 3 people dead

More tragic information is coming from Ukraine. On Sunday, the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that Russian armed forces dropped an explosive device on a so-called "marshrutka," a popular minibus used in urban transportation in Ukraine.

As a result of this attack, three people died on the spot, and eight were taken to hospital with various injuries.

Once again, Russia has shown its true face. On the anniversary of the referendum on Ukraine's independence, the enemy struck again at the civilian population, dropping explosive devices on the marshrutka – declared the head of the administration.
