"I informed my British counterpart about the current strategic situation and the organisation of repelling the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine on certain sections of the front. The discussion also covered the possibility of striking enemy military targets at operational and strategic depths. At present, the British side is working on its own proposals within the framework of practically implementing the victory plan," noted General Syrskyi in a message published on the Telegram messenger.
The parties also discussed supplying military equipment and weapons to Ukraine, training military personnel, and increasing the effectiveness of advanced technological means of warfare.
General Syrskyi reminds of Russia's crimes
"I drew my British colleague's attention to the cynical violation of international humanitarian law and the war crimes committed by the Russian military, including airstrikes on Ukraine's critical infrastructure and the mass bombing of civilian targets," noted General Syrskyi.
The Ukrainian commander also thanked the United Kingdom for its steadfast and unwavering support for Ukraine.
