According to the Ipsos poll published on Wednesday, support for Donald Trump fell from 47% to 45% within a week.

- While it does seem Trump is getting a honeymoon to some extent, his numbers are still not impressive by historical standards, said Kyle Kondik from the University of Virginia Center for Politics in an interview with Reuters.

In the first weeks of the previous term, Trump had 49% support, and he ended it with 34%, the agency recalls.

The decision to pardon participants in the Capitol assault is supported by 34%, and the abolition of birthright citizenship by 36%.
