CNN, based on three well-informed sources, reports that representatives of the US administration, including Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, do not plan talks with the Russians.
On Thursday, Trump twice announced such a meeting, claiming that "high-level people" would participate. The US president also mentioned inviting Ukrainian representatives.
No visas for Russians
Kyiv has also announced that it does not plan meetings with Moscow in Munich. The head of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen, told Deutschlandfunk radio that no Russian official received a German visa.
