When Disney announces a new cartoon will hit cinemas or streaming platforms, it's immediately expected to be successful. People, especially children, are eager to see what new stories can be imagined, leading these productions to regularly break popularity records. Just look at the success of "Inside Out 2". The film earned more in 2024 than "Dune 2," which few anticipated.

Disney cartoons are cherished for many reasons. Firstly, they are often very wise, which is why many adults love to show them to their children. Additionally, they contain humour, pop culture references, and, perhaps most importantly, morals. Watching these cartoons always provides new life lessons. It's worthwhile revisiting them, even when we have grown up.

"The Nightmare Before Christmas": A dark tale about holidays

"The Nightmare Before Christmas" is a 1993 cartoon. Despite the passing years, it remains a Disney favourite. It's a story about the Pumpkin King, who is bored with the routine of celebrating Halloween. He decides to change something in his life and ventures into Santa Claus's land, intending to kidnap him and take his place. It is an incredibly dark tale directed by Tim Burton that the whole family will undoubtedly enjoy.

"Brother Bear": A story of lessons and friendship

"Brother Bear" premiered in 2003. It tells the story of a young boy, Kenai, who is transformed into a bear to understand why it's worthwhile being a good person in life. Accompanying him on his adventures is a small bear, Koda. The film is enhanced by beautiful songs created by Phil Collins, guaranteeing laughter, tears, and even sobs. A must-see for Disney fans.

Strong family ties, or "Coco"

Anyone who wishes to recall the importance of family and connections with loved ones should watch "Coco". The film was released in 2017 and quickly captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. It tells the story of 12-year-old Miguel, who accidentally ends up in the land of the dead, where he tries to uncover family secrets. This beautiful story about love and family ties will move even the toughest hearts.

"Anastasia": A story of finding oneself

"Anastasia" is a beautiful, though at times very dark, cartoon from 1997. It tells the story of a girl who leaves an orphanage at 18 and travels from Russia to Paris to discover if she has royal roots. Unexpectedly, she encounters love, which complicates her journey. This touching, wise, and sometimes frightening cartoon is the perfect choice for an evening.

"Brave": A story of a young and confident princess

"Brave" was released in cinemas in 2012. It tells the story of a young Scottish princess who refuses to marry, preferring horse riding and archery. She decides she must go on a journey to avoid the duty imposed upon her. During her journey, she meets a mysterious witch who promises to help her if she pays enough. The tale of a confident girl standing firmly on the ground will entertain the whole family.

Learning to be a good person, or "The Emperor's New Groove"

"The Emperor's New Groove" is an incredibly funny cartoon from 2000. It tells the story of young Emperor Kuzco, who believes everything in life is owed to him because of his status. He respects no one and nothing, but after a mishap, he is transformed into a llama. He then meets a villager named Pacha, who tries to help the confused emperor. The cartoon teaches the importance of being a good person, with plenty of smiles and emotions guaranteed.

"The Lion King": A classic of the genre
