Three Students Injured in School Shooting near Helsinki; Suspect Arrested

The incident occurred on Tuesday at an elementary school in Vantaa, near the Finnish capital of Helsinki. Finnish police have confirmed the arrest of a suspect and reported several injuries.

Authorities are currently investigating the details surrounding the event. They have advised residents to steer clear of the area near the shooting and to stay indoors. The police have also cautioned against opening doors to unknown individuals.

Reports from Finland indicate that the school is home to approximately 800 students aged 7 to 15 and 90 staff members. Two ambulances were seen departing from the scene.

It has been revealed by the police that three 13-year-old students sustained serious injuries.

The individual taken into custody is also reported to be 13 years old.
