The destroyed aircraft include a multi-purpose Mi-8, which burned at the Kryazh airbase in Samara on 24 July, and an attack Mi-28 and multi-purpose Ka-226, which burned in Tomilino near Moscow on 21 July - HUR reported.
In Tomilino, the Moscow Mil and Kamov Helicopter Plant, which is involved in the design, production, and servicing of helicopters, is located.
It was emphasised that the destroyed and damaged helicopters were used in the war against Ukraine.
"Residents of Samara, Tomilino, and the neighbouring suburbs of Moscow were very concerned about the explosions, but Russian authorities are trying to hide the causes and consequences of the noise and fires," HUR's statement emphasised.
