During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the Russian Baltiysk base in the Voronezh region was attacked. Air raid sirens and the sounds of explosions were heard in the city. A fire broke out at the base.

Numerous Russian channels on the Telegram application report that the Voronezh region was attacked by drones throughout the night. "Residents reported explosions and several fires," it was reported. One of the targets of the attack was the Russian military airfield Baltiysk in Voronezh.

Recordings from Voronezh have appeared on social media.

Russian air defence remains active in the Belgorod and Kursk regions. In the recordings, the operation of air defence, explosions, and wailing air raid sirens can be heard.

Part of the material published online is also claimed to show the effects of the raid. The photos and videos depict a fire, reportedly located in the area of the Baltiysk military base.

Russian authorities report that drones were successfully shot down and that the fires were caused by the falling wreckage of the drones. There have been additional reports of an attack on another base in the Voronezh region, in Borisoglebsk.

Restless night also in Ukraine

The night was also restless in Ukraine. Continuous air raid alarms were in effect in most of the country. The Russians attacked Ukraine using kamikaze drones. Explosions were reported in Zhytomyr.

Drones were also seen in the central region, around Kyiv, as well as in the west and in the Kherson region. There is currently no information on damage or casualties.
