"Teddy nails" - how to do them?
Contrary to what you might think, creating bear designs does not require specialised skills. It's all about circular shapes, which we can craft using the mentioned dotting tool or a simple wooden manicure stick.
As always, begin by pushing back and trimming the cuticles. Then, buff the nail plate and shape it appropriately. Next, use a cleanser and apply the milky base, which you cure under a UV lamp. If one layer isn't sufficient, feel free to add a second. Now, let's proceed to creating the bears. For this, you'll need three colours: brown, white, and black, and a wooden stick with a precise tip. It's best to have three, one for each colour.
First, dip the stick's tip in the brown polish and make a larger dot. Then, two smaller ones above it for the ears. Cure it under the lamp. Now, with white polish using the stick, make a white dot in the lower part for the face, and then cure. Use the black polish to create the smallest dots for the nose and eyes, and cure again. Finally, paint the entire nail plate with a clear topcoat and place your hands under the lamp. The final step is to wipe your nails with a cleanser and optionally apply oil.
