The series captured the attention of the entire world, dominated the Global Top 10 for nine consecutive weeks as the first non-English language series, and made history by winning Emmy awards.

In the long-awaited trailer for "Squid Game 2," we see Gi-hun's return to the deadly games. The character, who experienced traumatic events in the first season, decides to re-enter the game to save the lives of new participants. However, his attempts to warn and guide others encounter resistance.

One of the most memorable games from the first season, "Red Light, Green Light," returns in a new version. Gi-hun tries to lead the group by instructing them when to run and when to stop. Unfortunately, panic among the players leads to tragic consequences. Gi-hun's efforts are not only ineffective but may also make him a target for both other participants and the game's organizers.

What awaits us in the 2nd season of Netflix's "Squid Game"?

The second season promises even more tension and emotion. Aware of the game's cruel rules, viewers will experience frustration as they watch innocent players unknowingly head towards danger. Gi-hun, trying to sabotage the game from within, may face numerous obstacles and betrayals.

According to the trailer, not only "Red Light, Green Light" will return in the new season. Gi-hun says, "I've played these games before!" suggesting that other games known from the first season might be repeated. However, fans can also expect new, even more shocking challenges, such as a series hallmark.

The second season of "Squid Game" will premiere on Netflix on December 26th, 2024. The series promises to be even darker and more intense.
