This infusion has a wonderful, unique aroma. With each breath, you experience something entirely different. The scent of rosemary and cloves breaks through the citrus tones, creating an exquisite fragrance. Another boon is that it's a fantastic remedy for a cold. Each ingredient has its own benefits, for which the body will be grateful. The infusion itself has an amazing taste, and it's easy to find yourself craving more.
Rosemary and citrus infusion for a cold
Ingredients:
- a few sprigs of fresh rosemary,
- a few to several cloves (they have an intense flavour, and not everyone may prefer a larger quantity, so it's better to adjust the amount to your own taste),
- a lemon,
- a lime,
- a few slices of fresh ginger,
- 2 tablespoons of honey,
- approximately 1 litre of water,
- optional: a handful of cranberries.
Instructions:
- It's really very simple. First, prepare a container, such as a large jug or pot. Place the rosemary, cloves, sliced citrus, and ginger, along with a handful of cranberries, inside.
- Pour boiling water over all the ingredients. Allow the infusion to cool, then sweeten it with honey. This will enhance its nutritional properties and make it slightly sweeter.
The infusion also has an additional, less obvious benefit. It serves as an air freshener. If you don't like the drink's taste, add more cloves and enjoy an unforgettable aroma.
