How to reduce dust accumulation?

Dust settles in many places around the house. It's an unsightly grey layer that's full of microorganisms and allergens. How to reduce dust accumulation at home? Regular vacuuming is key. Make sure to do it as often as possible. Don't forget shelves, cabinets, books, and electronic devices, which attract dust like a magnet. Simply wipe it off with a cloth or a special dust brush.

After thorough vacuuming, it's worth wiping surfaces with a homemade anti-static solution. The recipe is really simple. Start by boiling water. Once it cools down a bit, add a measure of fabric softener and mix thoroughly. Soak a cloth in this prepared solution and wipe countertops and furniture. The product will not only reduce dust accumulation but also give incredible shine and leave a pleasant fragrance throughout the house.

Dust settles not only on furniture but also on the floor. Therefore, it should be cleaned regularly. Although there are many polishing agents available in stores and drugstores, the most effective one can be made at home. Simply pour hot water into a bucket and add a measure of fabric softener and two measures of dishwasher rinse aid. Soak a mop in this prepared solution and then wipe the floors. The effect will be visible immediately. Repeat the treatment twice a week, and the floor will shine like new.
