Sex and intimacy after the age of 70 do not have to be boring at all. A 77-year-old British woman who is an expert in tantric sex has revealed an activity that helps maintain intimacy in a relationship. She highlighted one particular issue.

Sex is an important part of a relationship, regardless of the age of the individual. For this reason, it is worth addressing issues related to intimacy and sexuality to ensure that they are preserved for as long as possible. The 77-year-old expert in tantric sex shared one piece of advice that may be useful for people over 70.

How to maintain intimacy after 70?

Stella Ralfini, a 77-year-old expert in tantric sex, emphasised in an interview with the British portal Daily Mail that a good sex life is meaningful at any age.

"It's one of the things that keeps me feeling young. It's still a wonderful feeling to know you're desirable," she said.

Reeducation related to sex and intimacy is essential in this regard. "It's about playfulness and other ways of being able to orgasm that's comfortable for both," she explained.

She revealed that one of the activities that help maintain intimacy in a relationship—even one after 70—is cuddling naked in bed. She also pointed out one issue.

"MMen are quite attached to what's in their trousers but they don't quite understand enough foreplay. (…) Older men on Viagra doesn't work for older women the last thing she wants is to be thrust at for hours," admitted Stella Ralfini in an interview with the Daily Mail.

Mature age and sex

Research by The New Ageing Index, conducted by Home Instead on over 1,000 British adults, shows that maturity does not slow down activity in the bedroom. As many as 53 percent of respondents over 75 want to remain sexually active. It's no different for people between 66 and 74, with 51 percent stating they would not give up bedroom activities. Among younger people, the percentage was even higher.

Interestingly, people over the age of 50 are much more willing to have sex than to go on dates, as dates are not as important to them. Sex helps them maintain a good mood and mental health in mature age.
