A real drama unfolded aboard a flight from Turin on Wednesday, 17th April. During the flight, a 33-year-old man had a heart attack, which, despite quick resuscitation, led to his death. His pregnant partner was also on board.

The passengers flying on Wednesday from Turin to Lamezia Terme will remember the flight for a long time. On board the Ryanair aircraft, a real tragedy occurred. As reported by the "Daily Mail", shortly after takeoff at 10:33 AM BST, one of the passengers had a severe heart attack. Despite quick resuscitation and the use of a defibrillator, the man's life could not be saved.

When the pilot learned what was happening on board, he decided to turn the plane around. As a result, the flight, which usually lasts about two hours, was not completed. Although only about 35 minutes had passed from takeoff to landing, the rescue operation at the airport was too late.

His pregnant wife was on board

The drama of the whole story is heightened by the fact that, along with the 33-year-old, his pregnant wife was on the plane. However, she was assigned a seat in a different part of the aircraft before takeoff. For this reason, the woman, who was in her fourth month of pregnancy, did not witness her husband's struggle for life.

She learned at the airport that her partner had died. Upon hearing this news, the woman experienced a very severe shock, resulting in the need to transport her to the hospital in Ciriè near Turin. As reported by the Daily Mail, the couple had married in June of the previous year. What was supposed to bind them together was their common love of travel.

The tragic news from the Turin airport resonated widely in the local media. Particularly emphasized was the delayed intervention of the rescuers on the ground. As it turned out, this was caused by problems with the services gaining entry to the airport area. However, its authorities strongly deny this.
