The Belarusian monitoring group reported that two Shahed-type drones flew over the village of Komaryn in the Homieĺ region and returned to Ukraine via the Chornobyl power plant zone.

Another drone crossed the border into the Homieĺ region in Belarus near the Ukrainian town of Lyubech in the Chernihiv region.

The Belarusian Air Force then dispatched a Su-30 aircraft from the Baranovichi airbase in the Brest region, which flew south towards Mozyr in the Homieĺ region.

Russian drones again violated the airspace of an ally

Two hours later, "Belarusian Hajun" reported that two drones entered Belarusian territory from the Chernihiv region, followed by another two. No information is available on whether any of them returned to Ukrainian territory.

This is not the first instance of Russian drones violating Belarusian airspace during attacks. As "Belarusian Hajun" notes, the Belarusian military has previously shot down Russian unmanned aerial vehicles in similar situations.

On 3 October, Russian assault drones entered Belarusian airspace while a helicopter carrying Lukashenko was in the sky.
