During the night, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with anti-aircraft missiles for the second time. The first attack occurred in the evening. Russian forces targeted the city and its suburbs with guided airborne bombs—there were no casualties during that incident.
The Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, initially reported hearing an explosion in the city. He later announced that one of the attacks took place in a densely populated residential area.

Preliminary information indicates that power lines and above-ground electrical communications were damaged. Windows in nearby houses were shattered," reported the Mayor of Kharkiv.
"One of the hits was recorded near a residential building. Multi-storey residential buildings, cars, the supermarket building, and other commercial facilities were damaged," Ukrainian rescuers reported.

Terekhov reported another attack in Kharkiv: "The next attack took place near one of the markets in the Kholodnohirsk district in the city. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, but windows were shattered. All appropriate services are working at the scene of the incident."
