Zendaya is an American actress and singer who began her career in youth programmes on the Disney Channel. She gained international fame thanks to her role as Rue in the series "Euphoria", for which she won an Emmy award. She is also known for her roles in Marvel films, particularly the Spider-Man series, and both parts of "Dune". Apart from acting, Zendaya is involved in fashion, often surprising audiences with her original style on the red carpet.

Celebrity look-alike contests

Finding look-alikes of famous people is a fascinating activity. It's not uncommon to come across a social media creator who resembles a particular celebrity so much that it's easy to mistake them for the star. Celebrity look-alike competitions have been created for such individuals. Recently, contests were held to find the closest look-alikes to Timothée Chalamet and Zayn Malik. A well-known actor even made a personal appearance at one of these contests.

A girl similar to Zendaya

An announcement for a Zendaya look-alike contest appeared online. The competition took place on 20th November at 6:30 PM in Oklahoma, the town where the actress was born. Contestants competed to best replicate the celebrity. First place was awarded to Zainab Bansfield, who received £32, a Carlos Daughter shampoo, and a conditioner from the same brand.

Unfortunately, the young woman who won the contest faced much criticism. Many internet users did not see her resemblance to the celebrity, with comments such as: "No offence, but where is the resemblance?", "To me, she looks more like Madison", "It's funny that people who don't look alike at all win these look-alike contests", "I put on glasses and still don't see the similarity", and "Was the jury blind?"
